"The Gathering" is a full length documentary featuring over 40 living legends and masters of vaquero horsemanship from nine western states and their 60 beautiful horses. These legends, such as Buck Brannaman, Martin Black, Richard Caldwell, Jay Harney, James Shoshone, Justin Fields and many others, came together in an unprecedented gathering in the private sanctuary of a unique Cuyama, California ranch. Premiering at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, "The Gathering" has been described as a "once-in-a-lifetime historical film production" and is an artistic tribute to those who live, work and preserve the Californio, vaquero and buckaroo ways of the American West.
